What is SHRITHIK?
SHRITHIK – Automated Tree-Mounted Locomotive Pesticide Sprayer
The project is aimed at automating and enhancing the process of pesticide application on areca trees. A locomotive device is designed to traverse to the top of trees, utilizing a locking mechanism to securely attach itself to the tree trunk. Once in place, the device employs a 360-degree pesticide spraying system, coupled with advanced camera and distance sensors, to accurately and efficiently apply pesticides. Further, it can be repurposed for industrial furnace pipe cleaning, weed cutting, and even straight tree cutting, making it a multifunctional tool for agricultural and industrial applications.
